As a central part of the firm"s plans to further expand its successful international banking franchise, the Global Corporate Bank offers exciting opportunities as a place to work. We are currently seeking to recruit for a Global Corporate Banking Associate to join the Financial Institutions team. Role Description: Working in a team environment, the Associate will be challenged to perform at the highest levels in a demanding environment. The Associate will be required to work with other professionals as a team drawing from the full spectrum of the firm"s resources to develop customized financial solutions to meet the needs of clients. The Associate will work with Managing Directors, Executive Directors, and Vice Presidents, assisting them with all client activities (marketing, execution and on-going relationship management). The Associate will assume responsibility for managing internal processes for deal executions, internal approvals, business aspects of regulatory reporting and ongoing management of client relationship. The Associate will also have the opportunity to assist in the development of Analysts on the team. Core Responsibilities: • Assisting Corporate Bankers in managing existing client relationship and developing new client base • Conducting comprehensive client analysis to identify business needs that can be met with JPMorgan"s broad array of corporate banking products • Preparing internal approval documents such as credit memos and balance sheet committee models • Developing an understanding of the credit requirements of clients and the risks associated with the credit products. Collaborating with the credit teams on the analysis, structuring, negotiation and documentation of credit requests related to loans, derivatives and TSS • Help with industry and credit analysis (review financial statements, listen to and summarize investor presentations, and support credit approval and documentation process) • Conduct industry and company research and assist in the development of forward-looking new business plans for clients and supporting the maintenance of existing business relationships • Maintain internal reports including deal tracking, pipeline reports, and internal industry reviews • Conducting relevant internal reporting and administrative duties including the drafting of account plans, the maintenance of updated pipeline and closed deals and the tracking of revenues • Help with projects as requested

Desired profile

Qualifications: • Bachelor"s degree with outstanding academic credentials • High level of motivation, dependability, intelligence & a team player • Excellent MS Office skills, specifically Excel based modeling and PowerPoint • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Strong quantitative, analytical and computer skills including PowerPoint and Excel based modeling • Familiarity with JP Morgan processes and products • Proficiency with research tools including Bloomberg, Fact Set, Reuters JPMorgan offers an exceptional benefits program and a highly competitive compensation package.
