Dealer Commercial Services is a commercial lending unit within the Card, Merchant Services, and Auto Finance Line of Business. We specialize in lending to new car dealers in the US with sales ranging from small business to public auto dealerships. We provide floorplan, real estate, acquisition and commercial loans, along with cash management, derivatives and wealth management. We have 15 sales offices across the country, 6 Underwriting offices, and 2 Operations offices. We are one of the largest bank-owned floorplan lenders in the US.

Position
As a Credit Analyst in DCS, your primary responsibilities will be to spread financial statements, complete risk modeling, and validate financial covenant and borrowing base certificate compliance. You will also develop credit skills for underwriting analysis and learn DCS policies and procedures. You will take ownership of a portfolio that will include floorplan only clients, ACH facilities and real estate only transactions. You will be expected to appropriately assess the risk in your portfolio, diligently manage the portfolio (i.e. renewals, modifications, managing the credit risks) and meet customer deadlines.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
·Accurately spread all types of customer financial statements for the market
·Timely and accurate completion of all assigned risk models
·Validation of borrowing base certificates and testing of financial covenants for compliance as dictated by the customer's underlying loan documents
·Taking ownership of your portfolio, acting with a sense of urgency, assessing credit, financial and repayment risk
·Work in partnership with the Bankers to develop Client relationships
·Prepare credit approval packages and provide recommendations for approval
·Working proactively, in a constructive, diplomatic manner, with both internal and external contacts to keep transactions moving

Desired profile


·BS/BBA in Finance, Accounting or other Business degree
·At least 1-3 years of lending/credit experience.
·Commercial Credit experience is preferred
·Auto Finance experience a strong plus
·Prior experience in a role utilizing basic accounting principles
·Must be capable of multi-tasking and prioritizing in a time sensitive environment
·Must maintain a high level of accuracy with attention to detail
·Highly motivated team player
·Effective written and verbal communication skills
·Have a solid understanding of computer systems and Microsoft applications
