Partnering with our stakeholders, the Global Analyst Development Program (GADP) aims to deliver superior analyst programs through challenging roles, engaged managers and dynamic development opportunities. While the GADP supports nearly all of the organizations across JPMC, the majority of the 2,000+ analysts in the 2 year programs along with the 1,000+ summer interns are in two key GADP functional areas: Operations and Technology.
The Technology Analyst Program (TAP) is a global entry-level career development program designed to create technology talent pipelines in EMEA, APAC, India and the US. TAP hires over 700 full time analysts globally on a yearly basis, with approximately 350 analysts for the US program.
The Operations Analyst Development Program (OADP) is a global entry-level career development program designed to create Operations talent pipelines in EMEA, APAC, India and the US. OADP hires over 400 full time analysts globally on a yearly basis, with more than 150 analysts for the US program.
The Corporate Analyst Development Program (CADP) is designed to develop a pipeline of well-rounded future leaders with core business skills for a variety of roles within JPMC including: project management, process improvement, analytics & business management, and risk & control. CADP hires over 100 full time analysts globally on a yearly basis, with ~60 analysts for the US Program.
While in the two-year programs, analysts build technical and leadership skills through challenging assignments, comprehensive feedback and coaching, rigorous training and performance management.
This role will support the Global Analyst Development Program.
Job Function:
The Summer Intern delivers program support for one of the three analyst programs (TAP, OADP, CADP).
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Deliver Program Management Support
· Support Program Managers (PMs) in the execution and analysis of analyst and manager surveys
· Maintain program calendar of events
· Assist with creating and updating compelling presentations to be delivered to analysts, managers, and/or executive stakeholders
· Research and analyze data to identify trends and create reports to summarize findings and recommendations
· Provide support in the development and execution of strategic communications to analysts and managers
· Provide manager training support by assisting PMs with attendance tracking and follow-up
· Support PMs in all program-related meetings/events by scheduling, contacting speakers/stakeholders, sending calendar invitations, making room reservations
· Provide on-site support at OADP/TAP/CADP Induction training, including tracking daily attendance at induction training and monitor OADP/TAP/CADP mailbox for communications from analysts and escalate issues to PMs for follow up
Manage and Enhance Tools and Resources
· Manage technology tools that support the Program (e.g., SharePoint onboarding and tracking database), ensure accuracy of data, and provide timely updates
· Create/manage program distribution lists as needed
· Provide website updates
Desired profile
· Previous internships/experience with administrative, program and/or project experience
· Excellent MS Excel Skills, including advanced knowledge of pivot tables, functions, charts – knowledge of SQL is a plus; Proficiency in MS PowerPoint and MS Word, as well as ability to learn new technology (i.e. SharePoint)
· Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks, escalate when necessary; results oriented
