C++ Developer (Low Latency)

We are looking to hire a software engineer to develop connectivity applications with heavy emphasis on low-latency trading.  Working within a team of experienced technologists, the role will participate in all aspects of e-trading development from design and build to deployment.  The team is business aligned and is responsible for building JPMorgan’s cutting edge Ultra Low Latency Trading platform.  The platform provides services ranging from exchange/client connectivity, DMA, Risk Checking, and Order Management to RFQ, IOI, Contribution, Market Data, and Trade Capture etc.

- Strong C++
- Linux/Unix
- TCP/IP socket programming
- Object-oriented programming
- Minimum of 4 Year Undergraduate degree in CS/CE/EE/Math/Physics and relevant engineering fields

The following knowledge or experience will be plus
- System programming and kernel tuning
- Concurrent data structure and understanding low-level TCP/IP protocol
- Equities, futures and options, and fixed income business knowledge
- High performance, high capacity, and resilient applications
- Exchange connectivity and high frequency/low-latency trading
