Experience in Business Analysis (eliciting business needs from the business and converting those into requirements (BRD/FRD/Stories) for software development is required for this position.

This position will be part of the Commercial Bank Technology data warehouse team. The Business Analyst will complete end-to-end analysis of Commercial Bank business systems including requirements gathering, prioritization, estimating, risk assessment, planning, use cases, and functional/technical specifications. Work may include analysis/documentation of systems, identifying potential data modeling, interface file impacts and file mappings. The Business Analyst will work with Commercial Bank technical analysts/developers to ensure clear understanding of technical documentation and functional specifications. Adherence to structured software development lifecycle processes and procedures is required.

Desired profile

3 years of experience with the following:

·  Prior business analyst experience REQUIRED. Ability to meet with business, discuss current processes and system usage, determine current systems needs/enhancement requests and capture those in a typical business requirements, functional requirements, or Agile stories format.
·  Writing SQL statements
·  Writing technical documentation / technical specs a plus
·  Creating change control records / peregrine tickets / EURC requests as required.
·  Bachelor's degree preferred
·  Experience in structured software development methodology (Waterfall, SDLC, Lean Agile, JAD/RAD, etc).
·  Experience with developing Process Flows, Use Cases and other SDLC deliverables
·  Experience with TOAD and SQL Navigator beneficial
·  Experience with Relational Data Models
·  Experience with MS Office products including Excel and Access
·  Ability to work independently and within a team environment
·  Understanding of the Commercial Bank processing a plus
·  Ability to work with Business users to refine user requirements to produce clear and concise technical specifications to send to development teams.
·  Experience testing application software developed by 3rd parties.
