Business Analyst - Application Performance Management

Job description

This position will act as a member of the Application Performance Management Application Monitoring team within Consumer & Community Banking.

As a Business Analyst, the candidate will work with Application Development, Production Management and Shared Technology Services team members to ensure that applications are supported by the proper Application Monitoring solutions.

The candidate will interact with and have exposure to project managers, business analysts, application developers, technology operations support analysts, technology architects and all levels of management within Consumer and Community Banking.

The candidate will be provided with opportunities to support critical projects that require application monitoring, create and implement process improvements, partner with key people that use the information gathered by the application monitoring solutions and independently manage demand requests related to application monitoring.

The candidate will work in an environment that requires teamwork and collaboration. The candidate will utilize available meeting and collaboration resources, to work with people located within the same location and remotely located.

Responsibilities include :
· Gathering and management of requirements related to Application Monitoring.
· Effective management of assigned projects and work.
· Partnering with various teams within Consumer and Community Bank.
· Early Identification of problems and risk.
· Effective communication with internal and external team members.
· Utilization of an organized process for task management.
· Knowledge and understanding of Application Monitoring tools
· Produce and manage documentation related to Application Monitoring
· Interface with Architecture, Development and other Lines of Business (LOB) teams to provide input on Application Monitoring
· Work with Line of Business contacts to understand Application Monitoring impacts for new and existing applications
· Work in proactive manner to verify Monitoring results against production and provide observations/recommendations as necessary

Desired profile

·  3-5 years Business Analyst experience or in a related role
·  3-5 years Agile software development experience
·  3-5 years Scrum experience
·  Demonstrated ability to handle and organize multiple complex technical projects simultaneously
·  Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented work ethic
·  3-5 years of Project Manager or similar experience
·  Strong analytical skills
·  Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
·  Strong influencing and negotiation skills
·  Excellent written communication skills
·  Knowledge of application monitoring products and concepts
·  Extensive knowledge of using Microsoft Office products (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint.)
