Automation Tester - Associate - Glagsow

Job description

We are recruiting for an Automation Tester to join our Technology team in Glasgow. This role is part of a global team delivering new capabilities on the strategic Global Tax Platform.  Working in an agile team that is focussed on building a devops culture, the role demands good knowledge of modern testing practices.  The team has members based worldwide including the UK, Switzerland, India, Singapore and the US.

 

There is an opportunity to expanded experience on enterprise application test automation strategy andexecution.

 

This role responsibilities include:

· 
Working with lead developers to analyse testing requirements

· 
Defining detailed test strategy, test cases in collaboration with Technology teams.

· 
Support remote test teams of test to these working functional capabilities.

· 
Interact with other teams within the bank to ensure end to end programme testing is successful.

Experience and Qualifications:
·  Experience of Test Automation in software development in Banking / Financial Services Industry.
·  Experience of test automation within an Agile methodology, such as Scrum or XP
·  Software quality assurance experience required in creating and executing automated test scripts
·  Strong SQL and Eclipse Skills
·  Good working knowledge of a Java
