Job description

Within the U.S. Private Bank, the Incident and Client Advisory Group (ICA) is a specialized advisory unit that is the central point of coordination and governance around escalation for client activities and relationships that pose possible reputational or compliance risk.

Primary Function

As an Associate Case Manager, you will work within a team environment and demonstrate capability to review risky prospects, clients, accounts and transactions. You must be skilled at identifying significant issues and driving resolution through the proper forum, minimizing losses and reputational damage resulting from high risk clients and transactions. Effective communication and documentation is critical to this process. Advise Bankers and support staff on risk issues and mentor junior members of the team. Develop effective relationships with Bankers and risk management professionals throughout the Company.

Your daily activities will include:
· Receiving and processing inbound alerts
· Negative news, information coming out of corporate-wide screening
· Transaction-related alerts
· Global Financial Crimes Compliance alerts, including identified OFAC hits
· Providing guidance to Bankers on reputational and compliance risk concerns
· Performing due diligence and making disposition recommendations for USPB
· Assisting Bankers with submissions to the Reputational Risk Committee and AML Committee
· Assisting Bankers with client exits for cause
· Completely and accurately document all steps taken through the client risk due diligence process. Participate in peer quality assurance testing.
· Participate in associated client risk projects as required.

·  Ability to apply business knowledge to new situations and able to approach situations both globally and specific to product area
Requirements:
·  3+ years of experience in the financial services industry and/or risk management
·  BA/BS degree or a strong proven risk management/client service track record
·  Advanced degrees, certifications, and licenses a plus (e.g., JD, MBA, CAMS, Series 7)
