Portfolio Analysis Group Associate
Role based in London


Summary
This role is within the Portfolio Analysis Group (PAG). The Portfolio Analysis Group is responsible for the provision of performance, attribution and risk analysis (ex post and ex ante) to both internal and external clients across EMEA

The successful applicant will be a self starter who can lead by example. There are significant evolutionary elements to the team and the services PAG provide on the journey towards analytics. We have great aspirations.

Key Responsibilities

· 
Taking responsibility and ownership for a set of Funds/Desks within the Equity space.

· 
BAU reporting weekly, monthly and quarterly of Performance, Contribution and Attribution Analysis

· 
Regular production and involvement in Investment Director Reviews for Strategies.

· 
Producing regular and adhoc analysis for Desks, CPM Team, CAM and Senior Management Investment Committee.

· 
Enhancing relationship with Desks and CPMs to improve PAG relationships

· 
Working with Desk and Tech team to test and implement enhancements and improvements to B-One

· 
Cover for other Analysts over periods of absence and training as appropriate

· 
Working at various levels on various projects to drive improvements in processes

· 
Writing and improving procedures

· 
Exposure to other areas of PAG as and when required on Projects and other work.

Desired profile

Skills & Experience Required

· Intellectual curiosity to evaluate portfolios (Performance and/or Risk)
· 
;An appetite for continuous improvement, automation and efficiency drives

;A good understanding of performance measurement techniques

· 
;Knowledge and understanding of GIPS® and composite construction

· 
;IMC / CFA / CIPM would be advantageous

· 
;Knowledge of Attribution Systems (B-One would be advantageous)

;Strong numeracy and statistical skills

;Ability to work independently and under pressure

;Must be highly organised and able to work to tight deadlines
