Our Team

The International Private Bank (IPB) Operations platform supports our Private Banking business in Asia, EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) and Latin America from a hub based in Geneva & Mumbai. The Corporate Actions team is responsible to notify, reconcile, process instructions and reflect the events into our internal accounting system. The team is responsible for processing voluntary, mandatory with choice and mandatory Corporate Action events on Equities, Fixed Income, ETF's, ITF's, REIT's and Mutual Funds.

The corporate action team in Geneva is currently offering an opportunity to Professionals with Corporate Actions experience who are looking to take on a new challenge.

Responsibilities:

·  Responsible for processing voluntary, mandatory with choice and mandatory corporate action events, from event notification to the internal accounting system, across all markets, timely and accurately.
·  Responsible for reviewing corporate actions notifications and entitlement processing on our accounting system as well as identifying any incorrect postings.
·  Help support manager and team to make process improvements
·  Work with several internal teams to ensure accurate processing of event and instructions as well as to resolve complex corporate action issues
·  Participate in procedure reviews and updates
·  Communicate effectively with internal and external parties to answer queries and resolve issues linked to the lifecycle of the corporate action event
·  Participate in project related work

Desired profile

Requirements:

The candidate should have relevant corporate action experience with a minimum of 3 years in a reputable bank or financial institution and now looking to take on a new challenge in a growing, fast paced and ever changing environment. Candidates should in addition have the following attributes:

·  Strong understanding of the different corporate action events
·  Good knowledge of corporate action swift messages
·  Leadership skills and strategic thinking
·  Approach problems in an innovative and creative way
·  Must be highly disciplined, a self starter, and have the ability to execute on assignments independently.
·  Adaptability to learn new tasks and demonstrate a willingness to understand the details of a process.
·  Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure to meet deadlines.
·  Detailed oriented
·  Strong organizational and prioritization skills
·  High level of integrity
·  Excellent written & oral communication skills
