What we do:
As an Asset Service Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting all aspects of corporate action, interest and dividend events. Responsibilities include: ensuring the timely and accurate notification of corporate actions, coordinating the submission of corporate action elections and any supporting documentation, processing dividend, and interest, related to domestic and international fixed income securities, equities, American Depositary Receipts, and any associated tax transactions such as Back Up Withholding and NRA taxes for Private Banking clients. In addition, you will be required to ensure that all domestic and international corporate action allocations, income/dividend collections are accurately and timely posted to client accounts. Ensure all inquiries are serviced within service levels, and that all daily internal proofs relating to the general ledgers are accurate, and out of balance conditions are investigated and resolved within service levels.

The Asset Service group provides these services to Clients, tax administrators, Client Service Specialists, portfolio managers and our custodians, while meeting the established deadlines as required.
Core Responsibilities
· Process both global and domestic payments
· Notify client of corporate events pertaining to their assets
· Ensure the timely capture and submission of client elections
· Ensure that payments are posted to client's accounts
· Identify and analyze asset and cash breaks and resolve timely
· Provide responses to daily inquires as required
· Complete pre-reconciliation process daily
· Process BUW and NRA payments as necessary
· Coordinate issues and resolve with custodian
· Process repatriation for global payments
· Verify all daily internal proofs are accurate

Preferred Experience/Skills
· Accounting/Finance Background
· Proficient in Excel and Word
· Previous securities experience
· Experience with the asset service process
· Knowledge of foreign markets
· College degree or three to five years equivalent work experience
