Team Overview
This position will be located in Geneva, Switzerland and will report into the Global Wealth Management (GWM) Finance Team and specifically to the GWM International Finance Technology and Operation Manager, also located in Geneva.
Job Description
The Operations Financial Controller will partner with the International Operations management and will be part of a team involved in planning and analysis activities, results reporting, forecasting and headcount tracking, as well as supporting the month-end close process for the international locations of GWM Operations.
· Deal with monthly forecast and follow up of Operations headcount and expenses
· Partner with the legal entity controllers to ensure that accounting entries (mainly accruals and reversals at month-end) are accurate, timely and appropriately reconciled
· Manage Operations hub cost allocations
· Produce monthly and weekly analysis / reporting for the Operations and Finance Management
· Manage 3 year Plan process
· Prepare presentations / ad hoc requests and analysis for Senior Management
· Track and analyze external vendor spend and invoices (contractor, software etc) for Operations department
Desired profile
Technical Skills
· Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and Power Point
· Knowledge of Essbase/Hyperion
· Knowledge of AS400 / Olympic
Personal Skills
· Prior experience with Finance, Accounting and General Ledger (minimum 2 years)
· Ability to work under pressure and work within tight deadlines
· Strong organisation skills and ability to effectively prioritize workload
· Ability to handle confidential/sensitive information
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills

· Creative self-starter with strong initiative, ability to take ownership and work independently as well as in a team
