We oversee important tasks, including: incident management, user management, security access and controls, work order management, media management, application and business data recovery, and disaster recovery.We are currently seeking a Application Integrator engineer to use Microsoft Windows Installer technology (MSI), Symantec SWS application virtualization, Citrix XenApp and Microsoft App-V and other packaging technologies, to create deployable packages from both internally developed source as well as vendor source code. The role of the Application Integrator includes but is not limited to maintaining the relationship with various Application Development teams, leading the coordination of numerous internal service delivery organizations, assisting in application release cycles, and facilitate global project hand-offs. The Enterprise Application Management (EAM) group is responsible for integrating all applications into the JPMC"s desktop platforms.Responsibilities shall include but not be limited to: • The Application Integration Engineer will be packaging in-house build and shrink-wrapped applications using MSI, App-V and SWS technologies. • This individual is also responsible for testing the interoperability of application modules under development by in-house software development teams. • Transform source code into a deployable and resilient executable via MSI, App-V and SWV Virtual technologies. • Maintain and advance relations with internal Application Development teams and some external vendors. • Coordinate action items amongst internal service delivery teams. • Increase systematic efficiencies through development of automated tools..

Desired profile

Requirements:• Minimum 10+ years application integration experience in a large scale (preferably global financial services organization) mission critical organization. • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft"s MSI technology. • In depth knowledge of Symantec"s SWS packaging. • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft App-V packaging. • In-depth knowledge of Citrix XenApp packaging. • In-depth knowledge of .NET • Knowledge of VBscript. • Knowledge of XML. • Previous experience with Wise for Windows Installer and Install Shield. • Understanding of the Windows XP and Windows 7, 64-bit desktop environments. • Proven communication skills, problem-solving skills, and a thorough knowledge of integration best practices are critical to successful performance in this role. • Excellent inter-personal skills, team player with innovative ideas & leadership skills Additional requirements: Develop and implement administer policies and procedures related to network hardware and software acquisition, use, support, security and backup. Coordinates third-party maintenance for network hardware, software and telecommunication services. Prepares and maintains documentation of network configuration ·Solid knowledge in Microsoft Active Directory Design and support. ·Ability to lead and manage projects. ·Demonstrated knowledge of deploying and maintaining Windows Server environment comprised of servers running both commercial and internally developed software. ·Experience deploying and managing server virtualization technology. VMWare and HP Blade Servers experience preferred. ·Ability to communicate and coordinate effectively throughout the organization regarding technical matters.
