As a Mergers and Acquisitions Analyst, you will work under the supervision of M&A Managers and be responsible for the analysis and valuation of potential acquisition and divestiture transactions for JPM . In addition, you will have the opportunity to prepare analyses of other non-transaction activities to support Corporate and line of business strategic projects.Responsibilities · Prepare analysis and valuation of potential transactions. · Create and maintain financial models and analysis, and assist in the creation of company profiles and other presentations. · Assist in the creation of deal presentations. · Prepare analysis of other non-deal related activities and ad-hoc financial analysis to support Corporate and Firm-wide strategic projects. · Monitor and evaluate current events, valuation and other financial information on selected institutions and product portfolios.
Desired profile
· One to two years of finance / investment banking / M&A or related experience together with strong analytical skills including: o Extensive experience with financial modeling; o Basic knowledge of DCF and other valuation methodologies; and o Basic accounting skills. · Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills · Ability to conduct thorough, independent research (Bloomberg, SEC filings, etc.) · Strong communication and presentation skills · Ability to manage multiple projects / competing priorities in parallel · Strong organizational skills · The ability to focus on best practices in terms of process, communication and financial analysis · The ability to focus on details without losing sight of the big picture · Bachelor"s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
