Major Sheffield based digital agency have an immediate requirement for a PHP Developer to join their fast expanding team. They are seeking a seasoned professional with extensive development experience of websites, applications, APIs etc who is seeking to work in a multi-disciplinary team across a wide range of projects...and technologies. Whilst the predominant technologies will be LAMP, there will also be the opportunity to work on Android, iOS and other platforms. If you are seeking variety, and the opportunity of working on some of the biggest brands in the UK, this is the role for you!

Technical skills required for this role include:

• PHP 5.x
• OOP
• MYSQL
• HTML
• SASS / CSS3
• Javascript
• MVC / Zend Frameworks

Desirable Skills include:

• Content Management Systems (Drupal ideally)
• .Net / SQL Server / IIS
• JQuery
• Linux server administration

Coupled with your exceptional web development skills in the aforementioned technologies, the successful candidate will also possess an appreciation of best practices regarding usability/accessibility and SEO. Obviously strong communication skills, problem solving skills, great attention to detail, a good team player coupled with a passion for web technologies are a pre-requisite for this role.
