Oracle Developer bij multinational in Rotterdam

• Responsible for the migration of the system to Oracle ADF
• Responsible for software developments and product enhancements based on Stories
• Support Business Analyst in completing functional requirement specification
• Responsible for system and integration test
• Responsible for maintaining and supporting system
• Responsible for user incident resolution
• Provide resource estimates
• Advise Team on progress in daily stand up

• Relevant IT education (bachelor)
• 5+ years of experience as Oracle (Forms) software developer
• Highly experienced in PL/SQL and Oracle database (11g)
• Experience in system integration, preferably Oracle ESB
• Case knowledge of Java and J2EE or Oracle ADF
• Experience with SCRUM
• Understanding of the oil/gas tank storage business
• Excellent prophecy in English in both words and writing
• Willing to travel now and then to terminal sites
• Provide on call support for a week on a rotating basis every  8 till 10 weeks
• Competencies: customer focussed, proactive, Agile, innovative, business savvy and motivated attitude, good social and communication skills, good team player, also in geographically dispersed team, analytical and problem solving capabilities, manage expectations, ability to think out of the box and ability to work under pressure

Our client insources their IT infrastructure and development as well as the maintenance and support of their worldwide ERP system. These activities are conducted by the IT department. It’s an agile, innovative, business-driven IT organization supporting a rapidly expanding network and a business partner in the implementation of common business processes. They develop software based on the SCRUM approach and have close interaction with the customers by means of periodic site visits to discuss and prioritize change request, perform training and process alignment. The developer and the business analyst will perform these site visits. Their main system is developed in Oracle Forms and PL/SQL, which supports all processes. The Developer plays an important role in the future migration of the system to Oracle ADF!

As a new colleague you will join a team of six eager, driven, enthusiastic and pragmatic people between the age of 28 and 44 who mainly speak English. The team consists of 2 software developers, 3 business analysts and 1 team leader.
