Scope and Purpose

• Under the supervision of senior team members, lead the preparation of marketing pitchbooks and related materials; • Gather public information through numerous sources; • Analyse company performance on an absolute and relative basis; • Lead valuation work under different methodologies, ensuring financials models are robust and accurate (either by directly building the models and/or supervising/guiding work of Analysts); • Under supervision of senior members, lead the drafting of "teasers" and Confidential Information Memorandums for sell-side assignments; • Assist senior team members in the execution of deals; • In coordination with senior team members, liaise with Clients when required; • Manage and provide training/guidance to Analysts and Interns 

Required Experience

2-5 years' experience in similar M&A role within investment bank, "Big-4", M&A boutique/consultantcy highly preferential; exceptional candidates with less experience in similar setting can also be considered. 

Competencies Required

• Graduate degree; • Proven experience in working in M&A assignments; • Proficiency in both Excel and PowerPoint; • Strong knowledge in Corporate Finance and Accounting analysis; • Strong knowledge and application skills of the main company valuation methods (DCF, LBO analysis, Multiples); • Language skills: fluency in English essential; • Right to work in the UK; • Distinctive relational skills; both independent and team worker; • Solid analytical skills with high attention to detail; • High and constant motivation and reliability; • Pragmatic, problem-solving approach; autonomy and possess speed of learning and application; • Ability to work well in a high pressure environment and to tight deadlines.
