Job description

Scope and Purpose

The position relates to an Associate/VP position in a Corporate Loan Desk, the ideal candidate is expected to be able to act as the main reference for the transaction he/she is covering both internally (vis a vis top management, HO, credit, legal etc) and externally (client, external consultants etc)   
Key areas covered by the role are:
-    Balance sheet and Business Plan analysis
-    Financial Modelling
-    Revision of legal documentation including TS and Facility Agreement
-    Marketing pitch to client and prospects
-    Interaction with various functions

Responsabilities & Duties
-    Quantitative analysis of corporate lending transaction including annual report and business plan analysis 
-    Preparation of financial models (corporate) 
-    Preparation of credit applications
-    Interaction with the credit department
-    Revision of legal documentation and interaction with legal counsel internal and/or external
-    Preparation of marketing pitchs/proposal for clients and prospects also interacting with various desks of the Group 
-    Cooperation with the relevant departments for the completion of On-boarding and KYC processes
-    Supervision of the administrative and operational aspects relating to the closing of the transaction and the follow up activities
-    Portfolio management including dealing with amendment and waiver requests
-    Collaboration with the team in order to prepare periodic or one-time internal reports, and participation in all the other activities in which the desk may be involved

Required Experience

-    Master Degree in Finance or Business Administration
-    Shall have at least 3/5 years of experience in corporate lending or structured finance

Competencies Required

1.    Corporate/Commercial banking/Structured Finance experience.
2.    Commercial awareness and product knowledge essential
3.    Proficiency in Microsoft Windows applications, including Excel and Power Point
4.    Fluent in English, both in writing and verbally
