Scope and Purpose    

The Financial Institution Group Debt Capital Markets desk is looking for an Associate to help further develop the DCM franchise with financial institutions and to support the origination activities of the senior members of the DCM Team. The candidate will work closely together with the DCM team and will a liaise with other desks (Syndicate, Compliance and Legal). The successful candidate is expected to show a high level of flexibility and initiative to deal with a variety of tasks, including: (i) Assist in advising European FIG clients in the context of Debt Capital Markets transactions and help drive client dialogue; (ii) Assist in preparing periodic market and pricing updates for FIG clients; (iii) Assist in producing client presentations which explain industry trends, present options and recommend strategies; (iv) Participate actively in the execution of DCM transactions; (v) Participate actively in the legal, business and financial due diligence processes; (vi) Prepare deal reviews (and other internal reports) once the transactions are completed. 

Required experience  

A minimum 3-year work experience as Investment Banking Associate preferably in Debt Capital Markets or comparable role
