FAMI currently manages approximately €42 billion worth of assets with over 160 sub funds. FAMI is regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland.
Scope and Activities
The Company is seeking a Financial Risk Manager within the Risk Management team. Based in Dublin, this is an exceptional job opportunity with a top‑tier asset management company working closely with the business. The role is a permanent contract.
The successful candidate will carry out the following duties and responsibilities:
· Monitor market, liquidity, counterparty risk reports against risk limit framework
· Implement tactical applications for risk analysis and reporting
· Produce regular reports
· Analyse risk levels against agreed risk profile and liaise with portfolio managers as needed
· Contribute to the improvement of the risk management processes, systems and documentation
· Improve the automation of tasks and processes
Experience and Skills Required
The ideal candidate has the following skills and competencies:
· At least 3-5 years of experience in a quantitative position in Finance
· Quantitative oriented degree; FRM or PRM qualifications will be considered preferential
· Solid Excel, VBA, SQL and Python skills; experience with financial software (e.g., Bloomberg) and experience with risk software (e.g., Aladdin) will be considered preferential
· Able to independently develop tactical applications for risk analysis and reporting
· Able to run accurate analysis on large data sets
· Languages: English is essential, Italian is an advantage
