Job Title: Software Developer

Reports to: IT Manager – Nadav Drewe

Location: London Head Office, Shoreditch EC2



Job Purpose & Responsibilities:

Maintain and build upon InterResolve’s case management system and .Net applications/websites, and develop a new mobile app (iPhone and Android) via the following:

REQUIREMENTS GATHERING

Conduct user-interviews (internal & external) to gather project requirements
Work with the rest of the IT team and/or the Business Analyst to build up project documentation and planning.
DOCUMENTATION

Build up design specifications and knowledge bases to be used by internal and external users.
SYSTEMS DEVELOPMENT

Use SQL Server Management Studio 2008 to build stored procedures, triggers, functions
Maintain and upgrade the company business logic via SQL stored procedures.
Maintain and upgrade the companies standalone applications and integrated websites/web services (using visual studio 2010/2012 IDE)
COMMUNICATE

With internal and external users regarding feature releases and new requirements
Manage external outsourcer/third-party relationships and active project delivery
Document and deliver user training

Desired profile

Candidate Profile:

1+ Years experience as a .Net Developer
Experience across the full SDLC
Commercial experience in Visual C#, T-SQL and SQL Server 2008/2012
Experience with web technologies (jQuery, HTML, JavaScript, CSS)
Experience with Agile methodologies
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong competence in: Problem Solving, Interpersonal Skills, Project Management/Planning
Knowledge of the Insurance/Claims Management Systems beneficial
MCTS Qualified beneficial
Degree Educated (2:1 or higher) – preferably a technical degree or technical experience
Experience with Mobile Applications
