Hours; 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday

International SOS is looking for three motivated individuals who are interested in an administrative role as an Authorisation & Referral Executive to be based at the flagship office in Chiswick, West London. The role is target driven and requires a very high level of attention to detail. This would suit someone who enjoys administrative tasks, who can work as a team in order to achieve an end goal.

The team that you will be joining is called TRICARE and is contracted to provide health care support services to the Department of Defence (DoD) to half a million beneficiaries (soldiers and their families) living overseas (outside of the United States). You will be acting as the first point of contact (electronically not via the telephone) for our clients and you will be processing authorisations in order for our clients to receive healthcare support. We need to ensure we work quickly and accurately.

Key Responsibilities;

  • Act as the first point of contact for new and existing authorizations for our client’s beneficiaries, and associated Host Nation Providers.
  • Monitor Authorization queue to ensure that all authorizations from the Medical Treatment Facilities are processed in accordance with the contractual requirements.
  • Be able to use case management system to process authorization requests. Be proficient in touch typing.
  • Make appointments with Host Nation Providers at the request of the beneficiary.
  • Provide empathetic, quality service to the TRICARE beneficiaries and the TRICARE Medical Treatment Facilities.
  • Interact professionally with the HNP’s in local languages as required.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all patient and/or client information.
  • Attend and participates in International SOS staff meetings and educational offerings.
  • Complete other tasks as directed

Skills Required;

  • Excellent written and oral English
  • Experience of working within a customer services and/or transactional environment in an administrative capacity
  • A high level of attention to detail
  • Desire to work in an target driven administrative role
  • Experience of working within in an office based role

We will be holding an assessment morning at the start of November, with the start date of 1st December 2015.
