Job description
We are looking for an enthusiastic Resourcer to manage candidate generation and attraction for IFDS within our busy Financial Services operational areas. Due to the nature of this role we can be very flexible across how and where the hours are worked per week, although some attendance at our Essex offices (including Chelmsford) will be required.
Responsibilities of the role:
Candidate attraction and generation
Works in in collaboration with Resourcing Specialists on volume and specialist vacancies
Management of online advertising including posting vacancies on appropriate job boards and the careers site
Social Media maintenance, ensuring vacancies and content are posted in appropriate platforms to aid brand profile awareness
Database mining (LinkedIn, CV and in-house databases) to source candidates for imminent and future roles
Maintenance of talent pipelines
Candidate management
Pre-screen candidates to ascertain appropriateness for role and validate background in line with pre-employment screening expectations
Manage candidate expectations and ensure they are informed and have a positive experience of IFDS whether interested or not and if selected for interview
Works in in collaboration with Resourcing Services to ensure candidates are booked in for interviews and are equipped with all relevant information in advance

Represents IFDS as required at external careers events, school/college open evenings and so on

The Ideal Candidate
You will need:
Good verbal and written communication skills via a variety of mediums including telephone, face-face and email
The ability to manage your own time and workload and work on your own initiative where required
You will be used to taking ownership and accountability for your own work
Strong organisational skills
IT literacy
A real passion and drive for finding the right people for the right roles at IFDS whilst ensuring the highest level of customer service at all times
Desirable although not essential:
Previous recruitment / talent acquisition experience
Resourcing experience in a high volume and highly pressurised environment
Experience of using job boards, LinkedIn Recruiter, Google + and social media sourcing methods
Practical experience or knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
