JOB DESCRIPTION

Position: Digital Marketing & PR Executive Department: Marketing
Reports to: Marketing Manager
Number of staff reporting to the job holder: None
Hours of work: Full Time Office hours

Main Purpose of role: To support the Marketing Manager to deliver all aspects of Digital Marketing Communications including up-dating the company website, social media, email and sales application communications according to company strategies and associated customer expectations.

Objectives / Responsibilities:
1. To update and maintain the company B2B/B2C website with imagery, fresh and engaging content
2. To be responsible for implementing the digital marketing strategy and execution of all digital channels including PPC, display and SEO
3. Creating and implementing the social media strategy, focusing on brand awareness, engagement and social SEO. This also includes social media advertising
4. Implementation of a customer and consumer database for use with regular email campaigns, including the design and content
5. To maintain the companys sales programme (application) to ensure that product imagery and content is kept up to date, fresh and accurate

6. To maintain and update the company Press Loft system with press releases, images, content, pricing and stockist information. This also includes dealing with journalist requests received through press loft
7. To produce monthly PR coverage report to internal departments for both UK and International
8. Ensure internal parties are advised of ongoing PR, Marketing and Branding activities, this also includes producing the company newsletter
9. Conduct market research for development of new products lines and trends

10. Assist the Marketing Team with the organisation of Trade Show events throughout the year
11. General marketing administration and support for the Marketing Team

Knowledge, skills and experience required
1. Educated to degree level or (equivalent through relevant experience) general level of education
2. Previous Marketing experience working within PR or Marketing is desirable
3. Degree or equivalent level education - marketing degree would be advantageous or CIM or equivalent PR qualification from the CIPR
4. Proven ability to multi-task and work to tight deadlines, well organised and structured approach to assigned tasks
5. Good data management ability
6. A passionate self-starter with a can do attitude and conscientious team player
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong attention to detail.
8. Proficient in using Microsoft office applications ( Excel, Powerpoint and Word)
9. Working knowledge of Photoshop and InDesign
10. Working knowledge of HTML
11. An innovative and creative approach
12. Research and Insight skills
13. Good working knowledge and experience of SEO, Social Media & PPC
14. Copywriting skills essential
15. Experience working on WordPress, Adwords, Google Analyics (or similar software packages)
