In this position, you will work as Ultra Pure Water Technician Intern. You will be interacting with engineers as well as other operation technicians maintaining ultra-pure water systems. Your scope will include all High Volume Manufacturing (HVM) operations on the Arizona campus.
In this position, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Operating and maintaining ultra-pure water systems which support High Volume Manufacturing (HVM) facilities
- Performing routine preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing
- Utilizing quality systems and diagnosing process issues related to Reverse Osmosis, Filtration, Ion Exchange, Ultra Violet Light Sterilization etc.
- Maintaining Analytical equipment and creating the Statistical reports (Preventative Excursion Management Systems)
- Utilizing Maximo Maintenance planning software
- Interacting with factory and other customers and stakeholders
- Role modeling safety and be involved in Emergency Response Team (ERT)
Desired profile
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences
Minimum Qualifications:
• In the process of pursuing a two year technical degree or equivalent related to water purification
• 0-2 years of experience in Ultra-Pure water operations
• Applicants must have a legal right to work in the US without requiring sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
• David H. Paul UPW certification or equivalent would be an added advantage
• Facilities maintenance experience
