Position description

The Test Engineer Solution Integration will ensure our next generation cloud solutions will deliver highest quality. The successful candidate will be based in Paderborn, Germany and will work on topics like
• Close collaboration with development engineers early in the process
• Manual tests
• Writing automated tests
• Analyzing test failures in complex setups.
• Operating test labs for cloud solution environments.

The candidate needs a good understanding of software quality and quality control and needs good English communication skills.

Desired profile

Must have
• Experience in software quality assurance
• Experience with manual and explorative testing
• Knowledge in at least one programming or scripting language (Python a plus)
• Good knowledge of Linux and other operating systems
• Good communication skills (verbal and written) in English
• Understanding of the software development process

Nice to have
• Knowledge of Network protocols, TCP/IP and higher layers such as HTTP, HTTPS
• Fluency in German would be an additional asset
• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Computational Science
