Responsibilities may be quite diverse of a nonexempt technical nature. Internship responsibilities will focus on technical documentation and customer tools support. Role will involve working with a variety of different people and teams. Job assignment is available for summer and short periods of time. Documentation Internship responsibilities will include: Updating Wiki Pages to aligned formatCreating Product Collateral templatesWorking on Customer Communications packagesCreating Dear Customer Letter TemplatesWorking on Tools Documentation Creating Tools training VideosDeveloping Product Specific Technical White PapersCustomer Tools Internship Responsibilities will include: Intern should feel comfortable working on servers to validate tools product support and test commandsIntern should feel comfortable working on customer Software tickets and collecting SSD logsDrive DebugWorking on basic application benchmarking running FIO and other benchmarksIntern will be expected to attend multiple meetings per week, from Technical 1:1s, Staff meetings, and setting up additional meetings with other engineers to complete tasks. Good Verbal/Communication/Presentation skills are required.

Non-Volatile Solutions Memory Group: The Non-Volatile Memory Solutions Group is a worldwide organization that delivers NAND flash memory products for use in Solid State Drives (SSDs), portable memory storage devices, digital camera memory cards, and other devices. The group is responsible for NVM technology design and development, complete Solid State Drive (SSD) system hardware and firmware development, as well as wafer and SSD manufacturing.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this positionPreferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidatesExperience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences
Minimum Qualifications:
⦁ Must be pursuing a Bachelors degree in Electrical/Computer/Computer Science/Engineering Management
⦁ Has taken 1 or more technical writing classes, or has written 1+ technical papers within the field of Engineering
⦁ 6+months experience of SSD protocols (PCIe, SATA, SAS), I2C/Smbus protocol, SSD Architecture. Software skills should include: Running FIO, IOMeter, Storscore, Aerospike, C++, Java
⦁ 6+months experience of Data Center Architecture and Cloud Computing
