This is an exciting position for experienced system software engineers combining software engineering work with customer support and influencing major OEMs/ODMs/Sis, automotive and embedded customers with Intel Software/Hardware solutions. This job will give you the opportunity to create positive impact in fostering Intel's software eco-system.In this role, you will be providing technical consulting for Intel developer products to our strategic customers in EMEA region. Software Technical Consulting Engineers TCE focus on enabling external and internal customers to be successful with Intel platforms through use of Intel Software Technology and Products. In this position, you are expected to focus on specifically Intel System Studio targeting embedded systems/applications, IoT and automotive solutions. In addition to customer consultancy, you are also expected to work with multiple product stakeholders to define product features, submit/track customer reported issues and provide technical collateral on product features, use cases, etc.You will also work with product marketing team to assess and understand the market dynamics in order to influence products' features and capabilities while providing consulting to our strategic partners. You will support pre- and post-sales support including trainings and therefore you are expected to have strong written and verbal communication skills.
Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
· Technical consulting and training strategic customers regularly on-site or remotely. Developing, prototyping, and documenting code samples for technical trainings, seminars and webinar like activities.
· Troubleshooting system bring-up failure issues , tuning performance on both system level and application level with using components from Intel System Studio, documenting solutions, and workarounds for distribution to internal and external customers.
· Creating technical marketing collateral, knowledge base articles, video and customer case studies.
· Working with customer reference boards to help accelerate system bring-up process, and applications and build tools Microsoft Visual Studio*, Eclipse*, make, etc.
· Soliciting customer feedback proactively on Intel developer products and technologies, and convert them to meaningful/actionable requests to other product owners.
· Leveraging customer feedback in conjunction with appropriate use of internal investigations to drive the design requirements for the next generation of hardware and software.
· Collaborating with both external customers and internal orgs to contribute product requirements for next generation product features.
· Determining and defining best practices for Intel developer products and highlighting these to educate software developers at key industry events, onsite at ISVs.

Qualifications
Required: A minimum of a Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering and 3+ years of experience or PhD with relevant experience. 3+ years of experience of system level engineering tasks including system bring-up, kernel level development, BIOS and firmware , and embedded software development. 3+ years of experience of using C/C++ programing languages. Hands-on experience and working knowledge of various debug tools and technologies e.g WinDBG/UEFI debug/Trace32/ ITP-XDP/Intel System Studio debug tool, probeless debug methodology. Solid hardware and software architecture understanding, including knowledge of microprocessor technologies. Working knowledge of shell scripts and the GNU tool chain on Linux and familiarity with the Microsoft* Visual C++ build environment. Proven ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical people and excellent presentation skills for peers, senior management, partners, and customers. Proven ability to demonstrate "self-leadership" and work effectively in fast fluid and even ambiguous environments. Ability to rapidly grasp and resolve complex problems by efficiently utilizing direct and virtual team resources. Proven ability to work across organizational boundaries and influencing others to help drive organizational and cross organizational deliverables. Ability to travel about 10-20% a month. Preferred: Solid hardware and software architecture understanding, including knowledge of microprocessor technologies. Familiar with several tool chain like ARM DS-5, IAR embedded tool , WindRiver workbench , etc. Understanding of Intel processor families ranging from Atom to Core, Xeon based processors. Working knowledge of Intel x86 or 3rd-party CPU assembly programming. Customer facing experience. Proven track record for flexibility and pro-activeness in handling issues and supporting demanding customers. Familiarity with Real-Time, Linux Yocto, Android, Ubuntu, etc and Windows operating systems including familiarity with developing devices drivers in these environments. Experience with developing systems through the complete life-cycle from requirements analysis, design, implementation, integration and support. Working knowledge of Intel Software Development Products, especially for Intel System Studio including System Debugger, VTune Amplifer, SocWatch, GPA, Intel C/C++ compilers, and performance libraries, etc.
