Job Description: SW TCE's focus on enabling external customers to be successful with Intel platforms through use of Intel Software Technology and Products.. This is done through technical support help, training/evangelizing, and in some cases working hand-in-hand with the customer and their applications. TCEs participate in collecting and analyzing customer requirements that feed into the marketing driven product planning process. The difference from an Application Engineer (AE), however, is that TCEs are focused on enabling the use of specific software with many customers, while AEs are typically focused on enabling customer applications regardless of the tools used.

Desired profile

Our technical consulting engineers are often the face of Intel Software Tools technology. You'll provide customer support and expert consulting to Intel customers to enable their software with Intel embedded software solution, help improve software quality and system performance, infuse the voice of the customer into the development process, provide quality technical collaterals to demonstrate Intel software tools usage, and offer key education and training to various levels of customers and internal teams. This position mainly covers Intel software tools (Intel System Studio) for embedded and mobile.

Qualifications

Key Qualifications
- A minimum of a Master's degree in an engineering discipline such as computer engineering or electrical engineering or in computer science.
- Familiar with Embedded programming in C or C++
- Familiar with Android/ Linux/ Windows platform development, especially for phone/tablet devices
- Familiar with Android/Linux/Windows OS internals including Devices drivers, parallelism.
- Ability to offer technical proficiency and strong team leadership
- Prior leadership experience, at a minimum in a technical leadership capacity

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience/Knowledge with Intel Software Development Products, especially for Intel System Studio: including Vtune, GPA, Intel C/C++ compiler, Debugger tools, and Performance libraries, etc
- Experience/Knowledge in at least one of verticals including mobile, retail, signal processing automobile, networking or communications for embedded environment
- Experience/Knowledge with performance tuning
- Experience with kernel module development and debugging would be beneficial
- Experience developing systems through the complete life-cycle from requirements analysis, design, implementation, integration and support
- Experience/Knowledge with Intel X86 or 3rd-party CPU assembly programming
- Experience//Knowledge with ARM DS-5 and JTAG Debugging Tool of Lauterbach, XDB and ITP
- Strong analytic and problem solving skills
- Strong organizational skills, ability to multitask, be proactive and innovative , and willing to take risk and initiatives
- Customer facing experience
- Passion for learning, excellent customer communications, interaction and presentation skills
- Fluent in Japanese
