Job description

Come join Intel's Data Center Group (DCG) as a student engineer. Job assignments may be for 9 month to a year, you will be involved with Intel Storage platform validation.

Validation engineering interns are responsible for finding logic bugs present in the microprocessor design via System Validation. Knowledge of digital logic design, software engineering, and computer architecture are preferred. On the job you will learn other skills such as validation tools and verification methodologies.

Desired profile

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Candidate must be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or other science/engineering related field.
- Candidate must have the unrestricted right to work in the US without requiring sponsorship
- Candidate must have a minimum of 3 months experience with software/programming languages (i.e. C, C++, C#, Visual Basic/.NET. Perl, Python, Java, etc.)
- Minimum of 3 months experience with Linux and related Tools

Preferred Qualifications:
Useful courses and skills include C++ and object oriented programming, data structures and algorithms, digital logic, computer architecture, assembly language, and familiarity with hardware description languages.
