CCG-CRD-CSS-Windows System Integration and Validation WSIV team is responsible for validation of all CCG platforms such as Desktop, AIO, Clamshell & Detachable notebooks/Tablets. We are seeking a strong System validation engineer who owns Security/ Manageability subsystem and works with a multidisciplinary team to demonstrate leadership across organizations. Prior experience/knowledge with system validation, defect tracking and indicators is required. The ideal candidate will leverage a combination of business acumen, organizational savvy, and expertise in key technical areas to guide cross functional teams to successfully deliver products and programs. Must have experience leading and driving technical discussions with Intel's technical community, 3rd parties and partners such as Microsoft.This individual is responsible for: - Validation, planning, coverage definition, test content creation & automation, triage/debug of specific validation function related to Security & Manageability sub system across platforms & product lines. - Attends subsystem VST, Ingredient/ Platform Sysdebug on need basis - Works with peer orgs for feature enablement, system level dependencies, coverage analysis/review & sighting management - Responsible for content development, reviews, automation, coverage optimization, execution before deployment, analyze test content effectiveness and competitive feature analysis - Continuously drives improvement in validation methods, tools, cycle time and content optimization.

Desired profile

Qualifications

Bachelor or a Master of Science degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or a related discipline with two years of experience in platform validation, software validation including experience in test automation. Additional qualifications include: - Knowledge of PC architecture, operating systems, architecture, software life cycle, software validation methodologies, tools and processes - Demonstrated abilities and track record in test architecture, planning, test case development and execution - Knowledge of software and hardware debug tools - The candidate must have strong initiative, self-motivation, analytical skills, and be able to multi-task. - Good teamwork skills are a must as the candidate will be working with various levels of engineering expertise in various geographies - Excellent problem solving and written and oral communication skills and ability to clearly communicate test cases, test results and defects - Knowledge in Security features like secure boot profiles, secure enclave, Manageability features like vPro, AMT etc. may be of added advantage & preferable requirement for this profile.
