Job description
Come join a growing and strategically critical team in NSG focus on Hardware Development for Solid State Drives (SSD) products on leading edge technology. The Hardware Development team is responsible for all product design and development phases ranging from prototyping, developing, simulating, validating and leading to high volume manufacture of Intel's SSD products.
As a SSD Hardware Engineer at Intel, you will be responsible for development, implementation and execution of a range of tasks on a given design for SSD products.
Your responsibilities will also include:
- Working closely with the rest of the project team members to develop SSD products
- Developing test procedures and evaluating components and/or SSD products
- Writing firmware for component and/or product validation
Desired profile
Must have:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related discipline
Nice to have:
- Relevant coursework/experience in hardware design
- General knowledge in hardware design flows such as, schematic capture, layout, simulation and validation
- Knowledge of lab tools such as oscilloscopes, power supplies and soldering equipment
- Experience with programming/scripting languages such as C/C++, Python
- Knowledge of databases such as Microsoft SQL Server
- Strong planning and documentation skills
- Good communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills
- Able to work effectively both, independently and in a team environment
