SSD Quality Reliability Engineers provide project management, product, process design/development and sustaining support for integrated circuit or semiconductor assemblies, various other electronic components and total SSD System. Responsible for physical understanding, model prediction and enhancement of quality & reliability for Solid Stated Drives. Defines SSD qualification requirements and executes it assuring the product meets reliability goals. Studies and understands use conditions for the product, to incorporate in the qualification requirements. Defines/develops and conducts stress tests for Solid State Drives and its components.Drives understanding, root cause and solution of failures observed during qualification experiments during the development phase to assure MTBF on the field meets customer expectations.

Non-Volatile Solutions Memory Group: The Non-Volatile Memory Solutions Group is a worldwide organization that delivers NAND flash memory products for use in Solid State Drives (SSDs), portable memory storage devices, digital camera memory cards, and other devices. The group is responsible for NVM technology design and development, complete Solid State Drive (SSD) system hardware and firmware development, as well as wafer and SSD manufacturing.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this positionPreferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidatesExperience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must have a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Materials Science or Physics- 1+ year experience in semiconductor device physics, materials science, probability and statistics, circuit design, semiconductor processing, and quantum physics- 1+ year experience in hands-on experimental design, execution, analysis, interpretation and synthesis.- Experience programming C, C++ or Python
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1+ year Experience in non-volatile memories, especially reliability- 6+months experience with Solid State Drives Architecture and Firmware- 6+months experience with SATA and PCIe serial interfaces, including use of protocol analyzers for debug- 6+months experience with statistical analysis packages R, JMP or Minitab
