We invite you to join our talented and highly committed team within Intel's Security Development Center in Paderborn who creates and executes software test for the Cloud Service Platform.

What will you do

As Software Test Engineer Cloud Service Platform (m/f) you will perform black box and white box tests in the Cloud Services Platform environment, with particular emphasis on automation.

Your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Simulation of test cases and scenarios, evaluation of test results and detailed documentation

- Identifying missing test scenarios and refining existing automation

- Effectively collaborating with other teams to support QA processes

Desired profile

Must have

- University degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or similar technical discipline

- Good knowledge of scripting and a deep understanding of Internet protocols

- Passion for software security and the will to push our systems to its limits in order to expose vulnerabilities or performance issues.

- Knowledge of programming/script language e.g. C++, Python, PHP, Ruby

- Experience with one or more of the following: OpenStack, Xen, KVM, QEMU, OpenVSwitch, Docker - System administration, virtualization, networking

- Demonstrated software debugging skills

- Proficient communication skills and an ability to work as a team player in multifunctional team environment, as well as an individual contributor

- Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to new processes

- Good German language skills

- Very good knowledge of written and spoken English
