Job Description

The Platform Security Division in the Software and Services Group is looking for a Software Engineer for the development of Intel Software Guard Extensions SGX and other CPU and Platform level security features.

In this project we are working side by side with the Intel Lab research team and the CPU development teams on all aspects of architecture, design, implementation and validation.

We work in a unique environment that combines software and hardware with a security focus.

You will experience working and integrating with new generations of CPUs and platforms, in different product lines, in all of their development phases.

The development varies from low level HW/SW development to integration to higher level security features and solutions.

The SGX technology is a set of new CPU instructions and infrastructure that enable applications to protect critical secrets. It provides the ability to execute code in a HW secured execution environment 'enclave' and ensures code and data integrity and confidentiality For more details about SGX please refer to: https://software.intel.com/en-us/sgx

Desired profile

Qualifications

·  BSc or MSc in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
·  Solid understanding of computer architecture and micro-architecture.
·  Working knowledge of C and C++.
·  Assembly language programming knowledge is an advantage.
·  Excellent software and software debug skills.
·  Low-level SW/HW debug skills, passion to work closely with HW systems.
·  Familiarity with Platform architecture would be added advantage.
·  Knowledge of cryptographic principles is an advantage
·  Excellent communication skills and willingness to work in a competitive team environment
