Intel Performance Libraries team is looking for software development engineer to work in the area of Sparse Algebra. In this role you will be responsible for the development, optimization and maintenance of Intel MKL Sparse and FFT domains.
The scope of work includes development of new features and algorithms optimized for Intel and Intel-compatible architectures, performance optimization for current and future Intel architectures including assembly level programming and parallelization.

The Core and Visual Computing Group (CVCG) is responsible for the architecture, design and development of the CPU core and visual technology IPs that are central to Intel's system-on-a-chip (SoC) products and key to our datacenter, client and Internet-of-Things (IOT) platforms. Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Candidate must have a Master's or PHD Degree in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science or any other science/engineering related field.

    2 Years of experience equivalent coursework in the following areas:

    Programming in C or C++
    Programming in Linux and Windows environments
    High performance computing environments and optimizing code to achieve high performance.

    1 year experience or equivalent coursework in the following areas:

    Programming with Open MP, MPI or TBB
    Numerical Analysis or Computational Math coursework
