The Windows OS Division WOS within Intel's Software Services Group SSG is a software engineering organization focused on enabling next generation Intel CPU and platform technologies in the Microsoft/Windows ecosystem. We are searching for energetic System Software Engineers to join our Folsom, CA based Cloud Engineering organization. In this position, you will contribute to exploration, architecture, driver development and OS enabling of new features related to CPU and platform subsystems in support of client and cloud. This engineer will join the team enabling operating system support and virtual machine monitor for new CPU features and platform features. Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through relevant previous school, industry jobs and/or research experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

·  Bachelor's degree in computer engineering or computer science with 2 years of experience or Master's degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science with 2 years of experience years of experience using C, C++, and knowledge of Computer Architecture and Operating System concepts.

Preferred Qualifications:

·  Knowledge of Intel x86, x64 architecture and related platform technologies, Intel VT virtualization, and Cloud Computing.
·  Knowledge of OS fundamentals, OS internals, OS-level APIs, kernel debugging, and driver development
