This is an entry level position that consistently utilizes and applies financial, accounting, business and risk management strategies and concepts. Evaluates and analyzes financial information and business trends to develop reconciliations, variance explanations, risk assessments, and solutions. Provides financial advice, counseling, and recommendation that influences the decision making process and direction of varying levels of business leaders including project leads, managers, operational business groups and factories. Will provide support in the process of developing financial budgets, plans, forecasts to further develop and achieve business objectives. Helps to evaluates cost and return on financial and investment decisions. Is able to evaluate accounting and reporting and recommends solutions to ensure the integrity of external and internal reporting. Plans, performs and schedules own work with general management direction. You will work with the team driving the forecasting, closing, reporting and analysis of various FP&A groups, you will approve Shopping Carts and manage spending controls for the groups. You will have opportunities to work with your peers on the finance team to jointly drive efficiency and process improvement activities and have the opportunity to partner with other members of the finance team on strategic projects. These responsibilities will require close partnership with operations and have visibility to the Controllers of the groups and his/her staff.This role will help to drive finance reviews and participate in discussions and report-outs during Plan cycles. Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance.

Primary responsibilities:

·  The role offers a platform to participate in the growth of the high profile Center of Excellence (COE) site in Costa Rica.
·  You will drive the forecasting, closing, reporting and analysis of various FP&A groups, approve Shopping Carts and manage spending controls for the groups.
·  You will have opportunities to work with your peers on the finance team to jointly drive efficiency and process improvement activities and have the opportunity to partner with other members of the finance team on strategic projects.
·  These responsibilities will require close partnership with operations and have visibility to the Controllers of the groups and his staff.
·  This role will drive finance reviews and participate in discussions and report-out during Plan cycles.

Qualifications

Must have :

Bachelor's Degree or 3+ years on a course of study in a Business, Accounting or job-related field.

The successful candidate must have business acumen, financial analysis, problem solving skills, ability to manage projects, systems and manage to meet critical deadlines.

Ability to work independently, communicate in a clear/concise manner, tolerance to ambiguity, adaptability multitasking, energize, alertness, teamwork, systems aptitude and great organization.

Interest to develop a career in financial and analytical related areas.

Finance Business Analyst requires proficiency and working knowledge of finance, accounting and business analysis.

Availability to travel is critical, the individual might be required to travel to other locations for Training and Transition.

Intermediate-Advanced English verbal and written communications

Preferred :

Prior FPnA experience or knowledge

Experience with working in groups with different organizational levels and geographical locations

Proven knowledge or experience with MS excel and/or data management
