Job Description
As the Manager of NPI Engineering, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers develop and deploy technology roadmap focused on optical and electrical assembly processes including precision placement, optical coupling, process automation, etc. for Intel Silicon Photonics Product Division (SPPD).
You will set priorities for the team, get results across boundaries, ensure an inclusive work environment, develop employees, and manage performance.
Plan, provide resources for and direct activities to meet schedules, standards, and cost.
Cultivates and reinforces appropriate group values, norms and behaviors.
Identify and analyze problems, plan tasks and solutions.
Provide guidance on employee development, performance, and productivity issues.

Qualifications
Expertise Required:
- Optical Device, particularly Transceiver modules at high data rates NPI Engineering, Quality and New Product Life Cycle.
- Excellent People Manager skills and proven expertise in working across geo's timezones
- Deep Optical Transceiver Module experience in NPI and Manufacturing
- Demonstrated leadership in problem solving and root cause analysis
- Experienced in making product quality decisions with a business mindset
- Ability to lead team to apply Design for Excellence principles DfX
- Excellence in leading processes for analysis and troubleshooting
- Introduction to production of complex products with high quality standards
- Experience in developing strong partnership with contract manufacturers and design engineering
- Seasoned leader focused on defining strategies and driving execution to achieve best in class results
- Passionate about creating and leading talented teams to deliver great results with innovation and decision empowerment
- Driving changes to achieve greater business results
- Thrive in fast-paced, dynamic business environment
- High degree of knowledge and practical demonstration of managing Optical Product Transformation in CM's in Thailand and China
- Drive initiatives to reduce the cost of products
- MS/BS - Optical Engineering/Manufacturing Engineering/Comp Sc/EE 14 years experience in progressively more complex and senior roles with minimum 2 years in engineering management
