In this position you are responsible for RF Systems Engineering within our System Development team. As a Systems Engineer f/m you are in charge of definition of hard- and firmware for leading-edge cellular transceiver architectures including the digital and analog signal processing for GSM, UMTS, LTE, 5G, etc. applications.

Your focus will be on hard- and firmware definition, algorithm development and test/debug concept definition in a highly committed, international team. Other responsibilities:

·  Development of advanced digital RF algorithms for wireless products based on industry standards such as LTE/WiFi/UMTS and 5G,
·  Understand and drive optimized architectures for upcoming 3GPP standards,
·  Analyze and understand RF and analog effects and define digital compensations for them,
·  Bit-true simulation of the digital and analog processing chain,
·  Optimize for power and cost,
·  Support of verification.

You are convincing by the fact that you are a strong team player and active driver and want to get things done. You work well under stress, are flexible and want to be employed in a demanding field of work. University / University of applied sciences: Master degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Information Technology required- Main focus on Communication Engineering Work experience of at least 3 years or PhD Proven experience in algorithm development for radio architecture Proven experience in bit-true digital RF signal processing simulations Knowledge of MATLAB, C, C++ Knowledge of wireless standards like LTE, 3G, WiFi etc, and their mathematical abstraction Collaboration friendly attitude, team player- Excellent communication skills in English This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry, employment group G. A higher payment is negotiable depending on your expertise and skills. Prior to entering an employment agreement, the employee will be asked to provide all documents and references to verify any service times of prior employment. Based on provided documents the appropriate number of service years will be credited as prior employment.
