RF & Analog Device Engineer (m/f)
Graduate job Munich (Upper Bavaria) Design / Civil engineering / Industrial engineering
Job description
If you want to join a motivated, international team and, don't hesitate to apply.
We are the radio frequency and analog device team, responsible for the optimization, characterization and modeling of millimeter-wave, RF, passive and power management devices for advanced CMOS technologies. Our team covers the full chain of test chip development, electrical characterization in an advanced RF lab (up to 110GHz, large variety of characterization techniques) and modeling.
We are looking for a graduate, with very good semiconductor device, characterization and simulation background to work on the following topics:
- High frequency characterization of active and passive devices
- Device modeling for high-frequency applications
- Testchip development
This work field is interfacing between RF circuit design and technology development. Therefore the candidate has to learn quickly a broad technical field, ranging from device physics, design environment, device and circuit simulation to RF circuit requirements. Good communication skills to the international teams are required.
Desired profile
PhD or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Semiconductor Physics or Microelectronics
- Semiconductor device physics (FET, HBT, HEMT)
- Passive device physics (capacitor, coil, trafo, transmission lines)
- Semiconductor Technology (CMOS, SOI, III-V on Si)
- TCAD Device Simulation
- Programming Skills (e.g. C, Perl, Skill)
