We are hiring for Residential Professional Services Consultants focused on our Endpoint product. These positions are based in the Sacramento, California area only and relocation is provided where necessary. This full-time position will provide hands-on and remote best-in-class software security architecture, code development, installation, configuration and maintenance of our Endpoint Security, ePolicy Orchestrator and SIEM products.

You will need to possess a broad knowledge of modern security terminology and controls and be able to directly map and address complex security requirements COBIT, PCI-DSS, FISMA, ITIL, etc. to the McAfee solutions lines. Performance is typically evaluated based on utilization, i.e., billable hours. Consultants may participate in sales and proposal presentations in addition to completing ongoing team account activities. Consultants in this role also identify additional product/services opportunities in customer organization. Consultants in this position will be performing duties as an staff augmentation to a customer's existing security staff. Performance is typically measured by the capture of the consulting engagement and/or delivery of agreed solutions within budgeted hours. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications:

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Qualifications listed as preferred will be considered a plus factor for applicants.

Minimum Qualifications:

·  B.S. or B.A. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or ICT-related field required
·  Prior experience of three 3 or more years within an Information Security consulting, analysis or management role where McAfee malware detection/analysis, SIEM and whitelisting technologies McAfee Endpoint Security suite, ePO, ATD, TIE, DXL, Solidcore, SIEM were principal technologies actively used and the roles held required daily usage of these products at an Administrator/Architect/Lead Engineer or L2 SOC level or higher
·  Proficient in two or more of the following scripting or application languages: JavaScript, Java, T-SQL/PLSQL, Perl, C, C++, PowerShell, VBScript, Unix shell KSH, Bash, etc., Python, and/or ePO-API
·  Ability to use and understand regular expressions

Preferred Qualifications:

·  Post-graduate degree or coursework in an ICT-related field preferred
·  Two or more security or vendor certifications e.g. CISSP, Cisco, Checkpoint, SANS, ISACA, ISC2, VMWare, McAfee, database certifications, etc.
·  Experience working in a NOC/SOC environment Experience delivering industry best-in-class
·  Incident Response methodology, with a focus on malware analysis and attack reconstruction.
