Job responsibilities include developing scripts for analysis of data/coverage/results/tracking, writing verification test plans, and then writing tests to execute those plans. Development of verification collateral (such as behavioral checkers, coverage monitors, or score-boards, Perl scripts is often required to enable test plan execution. Candidates will need to debug failing tests, then work with designers and architects to resolve bugs. Successful verification engineers can anticipate failure modes, and write punishing test content to stress the design and identify bugs. Candidate will analyze coverage gaps and devise strategies to fill coverage holes. The quality of the design and the final product is directly proportional to the quality of the design verification work.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences. The candidate should be available minimum 9-11 months Full Time for internship

Minimum Qualifications:
- Must have a MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or other science/engineering related field.
- Minimum of 6 months experience with software/programming languages (i.e. C, C++, C#, Visual Basic/.NET. Perl, Python, Java, etc.)
- Minimum of 3 months experience with System Verilog and/or VCS Simulator
- Minimum of 6 months experience with computer architecture and microarchitecture

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with coverage driven validation
- Experience in IP/SOC ASIC Validation
- Experience in Specman E and/or System Verilog/OVM
- Experience with software design and coding
- Familiarity with x86 core architecture and instruction set is a good plus
