Intel DCPAE is seeking an Applications Engineering Intern to help implement Folsom Lab where DCPAE remote access to Intel's XEON platforms can be made possible globally.

As an Applications Engineer intern, you will also be part of a team that scale Intel's reach in the data center through customer advocacy, have close communication with field teams for various accounts and provide technical expertise and guidance for data center products.

Other responsibilities include:

·  Support and debug customer problems within XEON platforms.
·  Perform evaluations and recommend strategies to optimize test events creating and sustaining official technical documentation.
·  Help on develop technical collateral and presentations for internal and external audiences.

Qualifications

You must possess minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences. This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.

This U.S. position is open to U.S. Interns Only. A U.S. Intern is someone who is either a U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, U.S. Lawful Permanent Resident, or a person granted Refugee or Asylum status by the U.S. Government. Intel will not sponsor a foreign national for this position.

Minimum Requirements

Must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering/Electronics/Computer Science or any related field.

Minimum of 3 months experience with:

·  Computer Architecture.
·  Programming skills (Java, Python, C++, PHP or SQL).
·  Script automation.

Preferred qualifications:

·  Embedded.
·  SPI.
·  i2C.
