Come join our dynamic team as a Component Design Engineer in Technical Computing Group where you will be responsible for the development of electronic components. This position provides an exciting and challenging opportunity for driving multi-disciplinary technical issues including synthesis of large blocks, global floor planning, high frequency CTS, integration and design convergence for leading-edge fabric HFI and SWITCH components implemented using Intel's next-generation technology. You will be part of an experienced team developing hardware to meet aggressive quality, feature and schedule goals for products in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Technical leadership, Physical design convergence including timing and electrical verification

Desired profile

Minimum Qualifications:

Must have a BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science

4+ years of hardware design experience

3+ years of expertise with physical and logical design tools such as Synopsys flows and methodology (ICCDP, Design Compiler, IC compiler, ICC, Primetime tools)

3+ years of experience with physical design convergence, integration, and tape out of multiple ICs

4+ of scripting skills using Perl and Tcl

Preferred Qualifications :

Ability to collaborate with others across groups in a direct and productive manner with unquestionable integrity

Strong analytical ability, problem solving, and communication skills

Ability to work independently and at various levels of abstraction

Circuit design experience and computer architecture knowledge
