The role of the Oregon Community Engagement (CE) manager is to drive the site strategy and program implementation in order to build good will, positively impact our site community and promote Intel's site reputation in Oregon. This will include driving participation and engagement for internal programs (such as Intel Involved and the Employee Matching Gifts Program), as well as defining our investment strategy and engagements with external stakeholders. The CE Manager will partner closely with the site team including a Government Affairs Manager, Communications Manager and other CE Manager.

Job Duties and Responsibilities :
·  Responsible for developing, implementing and administering strategies and programs that enhance Intel's reputation in the community.
·  Manage local participation in the employee engagement and volunteer programs including Intel Involved and the Employee Matching Gifts Program. Responsible for overall program participation and success including management of creating program materials as needed, developing and implementing employee or community events, catalyzing local site volunteer champions, and database management and tracking of volunteer statistics.
·  Identify opportunities to drive positive stories about Intel and partner with the Oregon site team to identify opportunities to share positive stories internally and externally.
·  Recommend strategy for local contributions/donations based on the overall site strategy.
·  Seek and manage relationships with external strategic partners and community stakeholders that enhance Intel's reputation, create positive visibility in the community and align to business initiatives.
·  Work in close partnership with other members of the site Public Affairs team to ensure external positioning is fully aligned and develop key messages for the community on programs, issues, and other matters affecting or involving Intel's local operations.

Desired profile

Minimum Qualifications:
·  Bachelors or Master's degree in Public Relations, communications, political science, business or other related backgrounds
·  1 year experience with project and program management, including development of goals, objectives and budgeting.
Additional Qualifications:
·  Knowledge of public affairs policies and practices.
·  Volunteer community experience is a plus.
·  Experience with strategic planning and ability to analyze data from multiple sources to create a recommendation on overall program direction.
·  Demonstrated capability to conduct one's self in a calm and professional demeanor when dealing with employees, the public and/or with difficult situations.
·  Demonstrated capability to effectively communicate through presentations and in writing.
·  Ability to effectively manage a wide array of tasks, projects, and responsibilities.
·  Ability to work productively in an unstructured environment with frequent interruptions.
·  Ability to work both independently and as a member of a larger team environment and handle confidential information.
