NPI Engineer

Job description

Research and recommend technology to improve the current systems in support of organization's strategic vision. Responsible for translating business requirements into specific systems, applications, data or process designs for very large complex IT solutions and integrating architecture. . Design, develop, and analyze overall architecture. Determine integrated hardware, software and data architecture solutions that meet performance, scalability, reliability, and security needs. Lead on architectural governance and decisions related to Product , Technology and system tradeoffs as part of a cross functional architecture decision group. Provide direction for design activities.

Desired profile

The NPI engineer will work closely with global product management, engineering, supply chain and support driven by common goals and strategic imperatives. Will develop a deep understanding of competitive products, technology trends, and customer needs to deliver releases that drive business revenue growth. Responsibilities will include:

Collaborate with representatives from appropriate functional areas across Intel enterprise to meet project objective

Partner with product development teams in defining and implementing testing and diagnostic tools including software and hardware.

Work with the delivery teams on product delivery to develop new services and capabilities in the provided cloud Infrastructure.

Determine how to best involve and engage teams in new features and enhancements, both failures and successes.

Understand trends and emerging technologies and their impact on the business to determine how we can stay ahead and intersect.

Ability to work in cross-functional teams that span global operations.

Coordinate between Development, Integration, QA, support, and other teams involved in the releases.

Track release metrics (i.e. certifications, issues, support, etc.)

Drive closure on issues as they arise in a timely fashion.

Willing to travel up to 15%.
