About this position...
The engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing, documenting, and providing knowledge transfer and maturity recommendations for McAfee Network and Endpoint Data Loss Prevention engagements for a client's enterprise.
What you will do...
Develops and delivers detailed IT solutions through consulting project activities.
Responsibilities include client identification through final invoicing for engagements requiring varied interpersonal and technical skills.
Technical responsibilities include problem identification, system architecture definition, hardware/software specification and/or design, implementation, testing, client training, and solution deployment.
Project management activities include interaction with company and client managers and cost/schedule monitoring.
May have some financial responsibilities including project cost estimating, proposal generation, and invoicing.
May participate in sales and proposal presentations in addition to completing ongoing team account activities. Identifies additional product/services opportunities in customer organization.
Performance is typically measured by the capture of the consulting engagement and/or delivery of agreed solutions within budgeted hours.
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Qualifications listed as preferred or additional will be considered a plus factor for applicants.
Desired profile
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Engineering or similar degree or equivalent work experience
Willing to travel 75% of time for client engagements
4-5 year of experience in an information security role
3-5 years of experience working the entirety of the McAfee DLP suite, including but
not limited to:
McAfee DLP Manager
McAfee DLP Discover
McAfee DLP Monitor
McAfee DLP Prevent
McAfee Host DLP: Device Control and Content Filtering
McAfee ePO
o Expertise in designing and implementing McAfee DLP solutions
o Expertise in Incident and Case Management and remediation
o Expertise in DLP Incident work flows
o Expertise in the creation of DLP RBAC, DLP checks and balances
o Experience with various network infrastructure equipment, preferably Cisco based
o Experience with the McAfee ePO console
o Expertise working with various server and desktop operating systems, including
Microsoft Windows, UNIX, and Mac OS
o Strong presentation and verbal communication skills
o Lead the discovery and documentation of client requirements
o Produce all project deliverables including as-built documentation, incident response
plans and other security policy considerations
o General project management & communication requirements
o Communicate highly technical content to various audiences ranging from client
engineers to executive management, including mixed audiences
o Analyze client environments and identify problem resolutions
o Demonstrated organizational skills to concurrently manage multiple projects and
client demands along with administrative duties
o Superior detailed writing skills
Preferred Qualifications:
o General security certifications (CISSP, CISA, etc.) preferred
o General professional network certifications (CCNA, CCNP, MCSE, etc.) preferred
o McAfee certifications greatly preferred
