The solution should provide secure storage, secure execution, and secure provisioning for SoftSIMs, and ideally offer the same level of security as traditional hardware SIM cards. Steps to be taken during this project include:

-Understand SoftSIM concept and ecosystem
-Identify functional and security requirements on SoftSIM execution environment
-Understand Intel security architecture and security features (e.g. VT-x, SGX)
-Evaluate existing approaches to SoftSIM with regard to their security properties and adaptability to the Intel security architecture and security features
-Analyze and, if necessary, adapt Intel security architecture and complement Intel security features to achieve SoftSIM security requirements
-Develop new or adapt existing concept for secure SoftSIM framework based on Intel security architecture (incl. secure SoftSIM provisioning mechanism)
-Security evaluation of proposed SoftSIM framework on Intel Architecture (optional)

Desired profile

-Studies in computer science (or similar background) almost finished - all examinations done
-Good knowledge in information and communications security (preferably in system security)
