Job Description
Manufacturing Technicians perform functions associated with all wafer production including operations, equipments, process and training. Collects and evaluates operating data to conduct online equipment adjustment and ensure process optimization. Responsible for running lots in a qualitative way. Also, responsible for preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, spares, and sustaining. In addition, the Manufacturing Technician is responsible for improvement processes, troubleshooting nonstandard events in the production line, and reviewing technological health and stability. The Manufacturing Technician may be responsible for the buddy, trainer, and certifier levels and is in charge of updating training manuals. May participate in safety forums and Emergency Response Team as required. Work is somewhat complex and is performed within the spectrum ranging from narrowly defined parameters and limited judgment up to highly complex and nonstandard assignments in nature and broadly defined parameters. High degree of judgment and initiative is required in resolving complex nonstandard problems and developing recommendations. Normally receives general instructions on routine work, and detailed instructions on new work.

Desired profile

Working 12 hour compressed work week CWW shifts. Shifts rotate from three to four days a week. Able to work in a clean room environment, wearing gortex gowns, booties, safety glasses and gloves. Spend majority of time 90% less break time on the floor working on the tool sets processing product.Standing/sitting for extended periods of time. Walking up to 9 hrs per day. Walking may also include pushing transport carts with up to 20 lbs. of force.Carrying up to 6-9 lbs. of weight more than 20 times per day.Reaching as high as 60" and as low as 18" to place or remove up to 6 pounds of weight. Keyboard and mousing computer work, up to 9 hrs per day.Semiconductor manufacturing equipment utilizes magnetic fields that can interfere with medical devices.Must have permanent right to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
